SPECIAL PROJECTS

At Kamset we love what we do and there is nothing that excites us more than being able to work on a real challenge.

Maybe something NEW, maybe something BIG, or maybe a creative vision that needs bringing to life. We are renowned for pushing the boundaries.

Giant vinyl installations, huge hoardings with LED accent lighting and large scale fine art installations are all part of Kamset's portfolio of special projects.

BIG WING

Peter Randall-Page's Big Wing was utterly stunning, extending 40m wide x 8m high. The stained glass effect was created using a self-adhesive transparent amber film, cut to the intricate shapes and applied to the glazing.

The surprise to those viewing from Canary Wharf Tower's reception was the beautiful unexpected array of amber and yellow reflections spreading widely across the marble floor within.

For Kamset it was a spectacular project to be involved with, visitors from near and far came to see Peter's masterpiece spreading, at magnificent scale, across the southern windows of One Canada Square.

Project managed from media sampling,

on-site testing, site survey, measurements and drawings to scale through to installation by the "in-house" team at Kamset.

BIG LANDSCAPES

This exhibtion enabled artists Fionnuala Boyd and Leslie Evans, to realise a group of their largest works to date, BIG LANDSCAPES. Composed from multiple images photographed with a digital panoramic camera merged together creating remarkable composition, scale and detail, populating One Canada Square's lobby for 6 weeks.

We were invited by Canary Wharf Public Arts to assist in finding a suitable media to display their photography. The challenge was finding a media that both stuck firmly but also removed cleanly without damaging the marble. The largest image was 12m x 5m.

Represented by Flowers Gallery. Further information can be found at www.boydevans.com and www.flowersgallery.com.
